Some guide lines to design the monthly poster and flyer. You make the design you want. Please, add a squat sign, or lots of them, at least one somewhere on the poster and flyer so it’s it’s obvious Joe’s Garage is a squat.

The color chart, some of these colors are not available anymore. Ask us which colors are available at the moment.
In January 2024, you could choose within black, yellow, blue, red, green, teal, magenta light green, maroon, violet, dark green, purple.

Posters and flyers are stenciled. The printer needs PDF files, in black and white, one PDF file per layer.

For the poster, please try to limit your design to 3 colors maximum. Keep in mind you can also combine 2 colors on each others, which creates a new one.
The flyer is only one color per side.
Please make a poster design in A3, in portrait and not in landscape.
For the flyer, you set 4 flyers on the same page, formatted in A4, portrait. You keep a decent margin in between the 4 flyers, much easier to cut once printed.
Once you’re done with your design, please upload your pdf files on Disroot https://upload.disroot.org/ and share with us the links.
Please, also upload on Disroot the final poster, all layers together, one jpg file from at least 1MB. We’ll add this file to the poster archive.

We’ll also provide you an events list right after the deadline. Please always wait for this list.
You list events on poster and flyer with the date, time and event title as they are published on Radar. For films, it’s useful to be able to read the title, director and year.

Since June 2005, Joe’s Garage is an autonomous squatted political social center, a meeting place in the Transvaal neighborhood for squatters and non-squatters, subsidy free, not for profit, self-organized and entirely run by volunteers. A two sides flyer is nice since the text should not be too small. Please make sure the flyer is readable, that letters are big enough.
On both side of the flyer, please mention this: Joe’s Garage + month + year.
