The fire that destroyed the homes of over 100 people at Startblok Riekerhaven last month was a direct result of government negligence. As the mulicipality continues to turn its back on those most in need, we can do our part for our neighbors through fundraising and mutual aid. Donations from this night’s dinner will be sent directly to the Bewonersinitiatief Riekerhaven.
Community support matters most during moments of loss, displacement, and uncertainty. A shared meal can become more than dinner; it can be a way of showing solidarity, raising practical funds, and reminding affected residents that they are not alone. Every plate served and every donation given helps create a small but meaningful response during a difficult time.

No reservation is needed, making the evening open and accessible. Everyone who attends helps strengthen a wider network of care around the victims and supports the resident-led initiative working directly with those affected.
