The signs of the times have been littering the doors of squat WC’s and the stands of book and magazine fairs. The signs of The Future Times, that is. Squatters from 2123 have travelled back in time to the year they believe could be a turning point in the war against environmental degradation and capitalist exploitation, to give us a fresh and urgent perspective from a drowned Amsterdam 100 years in the future. On the night of 7 July, the squatters of the future invite all forms of expression of frustration at the current state of the world to be demonstrated on Spui. But they will need a bit a funding to pull this off. The voku tonight will benefit these time travelling activists in their mission to turn the tides of history and rile up enthusiasm for creating change today!
