Monday June 10th 2013: Volkseten Vegazulu, Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Campaign Benefit, 19:00 pm.

Mumia got a lot of birthdaycards in april; thanks to all of you.
In Philedelphia,Mexico and France were demonstrations at his birthday and benefits at many places. However the prisonindustrie continues, spreading her dirty wings out over europe (even holland)
Let us write more cards to mumia to show him and the state, which keeps him and many others in prison, that we didn’t forget what’s happening in these ugly buidings. It’s also usefull to write to the american consulat,to demand mumiaas freedom. There is a petition going round to demand mumia’s release, please help him by signing the petition.

Mumia Abu-Jamal is an African-american reporter and political activist. He is called “the voice of the voiceless”, as he reported about racism and police brutality in the U.S.A. And he was a Black Panther member. In 1981 Mumia get involved in a shooting where 1 white policeman got killed and Mumia badly injured, but Mumia survived. He got wrongfully convicted for murder on the policeman and got the death penalty. In Pennsylvania he spend 30 years on deathrow! Since then, worldwide protest and campaigns were held to ask for his release. Mumia wants a new and fair trial and is supported by Amnesty International, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu, Beasty Boys and many others. Beginning December 2011 the state no longer want to execute Mumia (because of the worldwide campaign). The execution has changed into LIFESENTENCE!
There are many Mumias, in the form of political prisoners, whom spent their time INNOCENT in prison, cause the state discriminates them. WE WANT JUSTICE!
Let’s help Mumia… write him, cause now, more than ever, he needs our help.
