A Prophet

Zo. 13 March 2011, Film avond, 20uur: A Prophet (Jacques Audiard, Fr, 2009) Un Prophète – Nineteen year-old Malik is just starting his six year prison sentence in Brécourt. The sadistic mafioso named Csar Luciani, co-opts Malik as part of the Corsicans’ criminal activities in- and outside the jail. The innocent Malik has no idea what to do but cooperate and becomes a mafia kingpin.
