Donderdag 3 januari diende het kortgeding over een mogelijke ontruiming van het kraakpand aan de pretoriusstraat 28 in Amsterdam. De geschiedenis en omstandigheden van het pand werden ter zitting uitgebreid belicht. Ook aan de rechter werd snel duidelijk, dat er sprake is van een speculatieobject par excellence.
De kraakgroep, die reeds lange tijd in het pand woont, strijdt even lang tegen de dubieuze praktijken van de eigenaren en voor het behoud van het pand als betaalbare huurwoningen. Door deze elementen en het success van hun sociaal project, koos de rechtbank ervoor om de zaak aan te houden in afwachting van de uitkomst van een administratieve procedure rond het zogeheten ‘bouwplan’ van de eigenaren.

Alle vastgoedmaffioso worden opgeroepen om in vol ornaat (bontjassen, gitaarkoffers, gleufhoeden, etc. etc. etc.) Jan ten Hoopens kraakverbod een hart onder de riem te komen steken.
