De Amerikaanse gevangene Mumia Abu-Jamal wordt niet ter dood gebracht. De openbaar aanklager van de stad Philadelphia maakte december vorig jaar bekend dat hij niet langer de doodstraf verlangt. De nu 58-jarige Abu-Jamal was in zijn jeugd lid van de radicale Black Panther-beweging.Hij werd in 1982 ter dood veroordeeld voor de zgn. moord op een witte politieman in 1981.

Discussion about what is happening in Greece and screening of Debtocracy, documentary film by Katerina Kitidi and Aris Hatzistefanou. The documentary mainly focuses on two points: the causes of the Greek debt crisis in 2010 and possible future solutions that could be given to the problem that are not currently being considered by the government of the country.
Deze korte film gaat over de eerste kraak in Nederland, die plaatsvond op 28 februari 1969 aan de Wijttenbachstraat in Amsterdam. Aan de hand van herinneringen van kunstenaar Tjebbe van Tijen en fotograaf Pieter Boersma, beide nauw betrokken bij het opzetten en uitvoeren van de kraak, wordt duidelijk waarom juist deze kraakactie gezien kan worden als de eerste in zijn soort. Waarin waren deze krakers vernieuwend en wat is hun invloed geweest?
