A Very inspiring example of a mobile urban garden is the Berlin project Prinzessinnengarten
Prinzessinnengärten is a pilot project that started in the summer of 2009 at Moritzplatz in Berlin Kreuzberg, a site which had been a wasteland for over half a century. Along with friends, fans, activists and neighbours, the group cleared away rubbish, built transportable organic vegetable plots and reaped the first fruits of their labour.

De Amerikaanse gevangene Mumia Abu-Jamal wordt niet ter dood gebracht. De openbaar aanklager van de stad Philadelphia maakte december vorig jaar bekend dat hij niet langer de doodstraf verlangt. De nu 58-jarige Abu-Jamal was in zijn jeugd lid van de radicale Black Panther-beweging.Hij werd in 1982 ter dood veroordeeld voor de zgn. moord op een witte politieman in 1981.

Spearhead compiled an album comprising songs from up and coming international artists based in and around Utrecht. The CD, World Music from Utrecht, features a variety of styles ranging from flamenco to jazz, folk to reggae, and gipsy to ska.
“The idea behind this music project is to support highly talented musicians from the Utrecht community, while inspiring our fellow world citizens to take action and unite behind the cause of a more beautiful, more just, and more sustainable world. At the same time, we hope to raise funds to boost the operations of our organization and fund our various campaigns.”
